Health & Safety

 Central Square’s adjusted Covid-19 requirements

Since the beginning of the pandemic, Central Square has been following CDC guidelines to provide the safest experience for our patrons, artists, staff, and volunteers. As we continue to navigate challenging conditions in presenting the arts to our community, our mitigation strategies have adjusted to reflect the latest recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). We remain committed to providing performances and artistic opportunities for our community, with a focus on live, in-person experiences.

Because of the change in CDC guidelines, we have adjusted our Covid mitigation strategies. Implementation of our new guidelines are in effect as of March 1, 2022. Proof of vaccination or a negative Covid test will no longer be required. Out of concern for those who may be immunocompromised or have underlying health concerns, the mask requirement will be changed to “Masks Recommended.” Patrons are encouraged to stay up to date with their Covid-19 vaccines and get tested if they have symptoms.

While public health guidelines shift, we may adjust our policies to meet contractual agreements, mitigate risk and help ensure their events go on as planned. We will continue to refer to the CDC and medical experts and communicate changes to patrons as they arise.
