Art in the Square Gallery

AISlogoEvery six weeks or so, we plan to exhibit an artist’s work: oil paintings, watercolors, drawings, jewelry, and more. We believe that giving exposure to and supporting our local artists is crucial to keeping the arts alive in west central Minnesota. The more exhibits we host, the more attention these artists can get from around the country!

Our Gallery is on the second floor of historic Central Square and has been newly renamed in 2016 the Art in the Square Gallery. What used to be a high school hallway has been transformed into a wonderful viewing area to highlight an artist’s work.

We provide an opening show for each artist, complete with free hors d’oeuvres, usually in conjunction with a major concert or theater production. In doing so, we get a larger volume of viewers at a single time. Many artists have even been able to sell a piece or two.

If you are an artist and wish to exhibit your work, please contact the office at 320-634-0400 for jury information and openings.
